Just 30 Minutes per Week
Students increase one full grade level with just 30 minutes of work per week. Finding and fixing missing skills is just that powerful. See the new large-scale research study that shows the dramatic growth students achieve by finding and fixing learning gaps with MobyMax.
You won’t find a more significant research result for improving student outcomes.
Research Highlights
MobyMax conducted a large-scale experimental study with 4,000 students in 230 classrooms across the United States.
The dramatic results that qualify as ESSA Tier 1 “Strong Evidence” conclusively demonstrate the benefit that comes from finding and fixing learning gaps with MobyMax.
The study showed that MobyMax had an effect size of 0.875 for language, and 0.702 for math. This is roughly 40 weeks (more than one school year) of additional growth.
Powerful Intervention
Finding and fixing missing skills is a powerful intervention for all students with learning gaps. Students with higher learning deficiencies benefited significantly from MobyMax. In fact, the gain by students with a high learning deficiency exceeded the difference between the experimental and control group!
Head-to-Head Comparison
MobyMax clearly shows a much larger effect size than other leading solutions. The MobyMax effect size is equivalent to an additional 40 weeks of learning!
Most education research by other solutions are based on Tier 2 or lower evidence. For example, i-Ready research states the evidence only qualifies for Tier 3 for "Promising Evidence." By contrast, MobyMax’s research gains the highest ESSA rating — Tier 1 for “Strong Evidence.”

Principles of Scientific-Based Research in MobyMax
Students who have spent just 30 minutes a week (20 hours in a school year) using MobyMax average one full grade-level increase in both math and language. These results are due to MobyMax’s pedagogy, which incorporates multiple research-based techniques that have proven highly effective in increasing student achievement.
MobyMax’s pedagogy incorporates the most effective practices for increasing student outcomes as identified by Professor John Hattie’s exhaustive research that synthesized over 1,000 meta-analyses of over 50,000 studies.
